So I just posted that verse to highlight that we are responsible to judge each other, and anyone who calls themself a Christian (we do not judge outsiders).. the only caution is that we do not judge based on our opinions, but we judge based on the Word of God. We do not need to be God to judge, but we do need to use His word when we bring light to a brother in sin. Our relationship with Christ is personal, but it is DEFINITELY not private. We are called to live a PUBLIC life that represents Him.. aka ambassadors of the Kingdom. We are the body of Christ, so what we do affects each other, and God calls us to hold each other accountable with righteous judgment.
