Looks like knockoff C. G. Lewis reasoning. Not worth noting. No relevant/ in context scriptural reasoning. This is getting so old. It's like the "Tommy Hilfiger is a racist" urban legend rumor. *sigh*

Wow!!! That is a LIE from the devil! First of all, God is the creator of EVERYTHING. God created hip-hop and Rock music. Second, He gave the music ability and creativity to those people of this world that "started" it and they chose to use it for the wrong reasons. Third, the devil knows his music, so as Christians, how are we supposed to go against the worldly music if we don't even have musical creativity. God has given these Christian artists their gifts, of course they're gonna use them! Last, I pray nobody actually believes that after reading it and falls into that trap of deception and I pray for the person who wrote that. Some people look too hard for answers.

he created hip hop and rock? thats like saying God created fornication. Music is Gods instrument you cant now do whatever u want with it and call it Gods. Sex was created by God to be used ONLY His way, in a marriage, the same with music it was used only for His praise. Look up and study the origin of Rock and hip hop. its just like the trying to use christmas for God now. Forget craig lewis pray and ask the HOly Spirit to open your eyes, then look at the so called christian rock and rap and look and see if it all glorifies God.

The problem comes with the word "all". After having my artist in a recent showcase/performance a few weeks ago, I can see how Christians on the outside looking in can view it this way: We are much too much about business and less about the Gospel in the Urban, Christian, & Gospel Music Industry.

Kirk Franklin said that Gospel Music was not created nor meant for the Music Industry....I happen to agree. It becomes very political and some to many artist are trying intenetionally to sound just like some secular artist as a "hook" and a gimmick instead of asking GOD to not just anoint them and give them success, but to also give them originality in their ministry. Some of our artists are modeling so much after them, that the clothes are just as tight or revealing, we commit the same sins with excuses, and handle our ministry like the world.

When we do that, we make sites like the one listed justified in what they say.

I believe we need to re visit some of the things G Craig has said. The biggest problem I had with Lewis is terminology but there seems to be validity to lots of what he said and says, we need to determine what he is saying and how it is being applied. Just because he may have been wrong in one area doesn't mean the whole is wrong. I've never been a supporter of his but I've also never been a so called hip hop head. He has said some things that are true and can't be denied. The culture of Hip Hop is one issue, Gospel Rap is another issue. There is a spiritual side that is being ignored. Let's weed out the terminology properly because this is serious becoming an issue.

These things are going to past due to the ungodliness occuring in the world. Satan knows he's running out of time. These should be red flags for people on how to interpret the times. We shouldn't be surprised,it's only going to get worse. As the gospel is slowly starting to be preached. Everyone will have a chance to hear the gospel. God is giving everyone a chance to turn to Jesus and repent. So on judgement day they will not have an excuse. So as true Christians we should continue to fight sin and tell people the good news about Jesus King Christ. That is our duty. Let's not get caught up on things that are eventually going to happen. But find ways to tell people about Jesus, those who are lost or deceived. These are the last days, and we should be doing our best to tell everyone the good news and speed up the process. As we know satan is running this world,but that's God's battle not ours. Our job is to tell them the good news.The government is being controlled by satan himself. So obviously they are going to control the website. We are the watchmen of God. This is a test on our part. We will be held accountable of everything we say or do on judgement day.So this question how does it apply to someone that is lost in Christ or confused about some scriptures. Let's be watchmen. EZEKIEL 33:1-6.
