Should Exorcisms (Casting out demons & Spirits) be allowed/Or taught at Church !!!

taught? allowed? Christ is the head of the church so who's going to stop it? How do you teach this, isn't this the power of God through the Holy Spirit

I think what he's asking is whether or not today's church, younger, hip, urban church is prepared to deal with these kinds of events?

The question shouldn't be should it be allowed...If you see a person showing BIBLICAL signs of person being possessed we are commanded to do it. The question is why do most church's teach that everytime somebody is struggling with sin or does an evil thing its because they are possessed(unbeliever) or oppressed(believer). If a person is truly possessed, and has the biblical signs of it then cast it out, but it starts to get crazy when bad things happen and we start casting out demons with names we made up. Or a favorite now of days it binding up spirits. Example: Binding up the spirit of poverty in my life or lust or whatever when you never see that in the bible. I do see killing sin when a believer falls prey to sin. I had a pastor at a youth conference try to bind up my pain when I rolled my ankle playing bball, I almost laughed at him. LOL

I believe in casting out spirits, but I'm not doing it unless the person shows biblical signs of it. Maybe we just love the fact that we have authority and power over something, idk...lol

As a spirit filled woman of God, upon getting saved the Lord gave me spirtual gifts. I do cast out demons and I teach through the power of God. I was taught through my former church in NY. thebiblechurchofchrist.org (40 year plus ministry)
Christians are called to do this service, but you must, I say must be lead by God or else you'll be like the vagabond jews getting beat up by the demon. What lead me to do this service is God, my book "Demon Possession: It can happen to you" will be coming out soon I pray. I always tell people that JESUS waited on the HOLY SPIRIT to lead HIM into the wilderness to begin HIS MINISTRY. HE didn't just go on HIS Own Recognizance, lol.
Praise the LORD for those such as yourself who know who they are and WHOSE they are.

This is the reality we are facing now; As the demonic spirit rises in our culture, hip hop, the way we dress, and even the types of music being made, ( autotune, pad heavy synths repetitve sounds etc..) This will allow those who are discerning the opportunity to deal with these spirits and call/cast them out. We must be sensitive to the activity of God. God is alive and he is always doing something. He's not in heaven bored or waiting for us to make a move so that he can counter move, rather he is active thus WE must pray to sense or see what he is doing and then get ourselves in line with that.

This is real talk , now more than before we will see demonic manifestations. The atomsphere has been set, the ground work already laid. I don't wanna sound "deep" uh.. I'll just say this...

I know many former ravers, they have told me about how similar todays hip hop is to rave music of the past.( synths pads, autotune, the constant repetive beat the bass lines) These dudes felt like they were having a true spiritual experience while raving. They felt out of body and euphoric. They also dealt with demonic possession that was broken by the power of God. Again I say the groundwork has been laid, the atomsphere set... So... as we see this, we believers will be presented the opportunity to excersise our faith and deal with this but i digress...

Yes teach it, deal with it, cast out the demons, pray for discernment so you know the spirit you're dealing with, (no need to pray against homosexuality if the the demonic spirit is pride, or anger you will just be spinning your wheels) , pray for faith, boldness, strength, pray for understanding, just pray... ok ,cool

There should be teaching, yes. However, the general state that the Body is in now doesn't allow mature teaching/training to go forth.
Too many are still 'unclean'. Too many still function in 'magickal thinking'.

Yes,we are called to cast and teach to cast demons out As Jesus did and all the disciples did in the New Testament. Old Testament God just killed those who sinned because he could not take their sin away. But Jesus Christ came for the purpose of saving the lost buy washing the sins away from a person by his Holy Blood, it couldnt be done with an animal sacrifice because we were humans. But Jesus was the sacrifice once and for all ,to cast demons out by the blood of Jesus.Now his spirit is within us when we ask for his forgiveness,just waiting patiently outside the door. But once we receive his spirit for the first time doesn't mean you can cast demons out right away. You must be purified of all unrighteousness,sin.You also must have your faith built up in Jesus to the point of dying for him.you must trust him in everything and anything you in your life,just in him alone.Me, I also cast demons out. but I dont recommend to people who have any type of fear because you cant have faith and fear at the same time. You either have one or the other.Bible tells us even demons know his name. So, when you mention by the blood of Jesus, it reminds them of how Christ conquered death, and they leave. But you SHOULD NOT TRY TO CAST DEMONS OUT IF YOU AREN'T REALLY SAVED. If you are still depending on the world even for 1 thing. then you really arent trusting Christ, Therefore you are lacking in faith, I hope this answers. your comment. EPHESIANS 6;10-12. FINALLY, BE STRONG IN THE LORD AND IN HIS MIGHTY POWER. PUT ON THE FULL ARMOR OF GOD SO THAT YOU CAN TAKE YOUR STAND AGAINST THE DEVIL'S SCHEMES. FOR OUR STRUGGLE IS NOT AGAINST FLESHAND BLOOD, BUT AGAINST THE RULERS, AGAINST THE AUTHORITIES, AGAINST THE POWERS OF THIS DARK WORLD AND AGAINST THE SPIRITUAL FORCES OF EVIL IN THE HEAVENLY REALMS.
