That narrow vision he speaks of is literally killing people. Too often when someone is in an impoverished area all they get to see is that narrow vision of how life is. They get to see run down schools, living in or around public housing that is subpar, seeing drug dealers etc Also when one child tries to goes against the grain there is a crab in a barrel mentality, others try to pull the child back down. I am happy to see that their are churches out their that are looking to the future generation (the young people) and ministering and broadening their vision.

This is the new normal in the church. This is how where we have ended up, after coming from so far. The sad thing is there are many who don't see anything wrong with this. In the words of old school carlton pearson "Are you still holding on"? It can only get worse before it gets better.

The real surprise is Eddie Long going along with this. Shame on him.

There is a lot of pressure on PKs (preacher's kids) - I am one. Just because the dad is a preacher, it doesn't mean that the kids are saved. Just because someone is saved doesn't mean the person is ready for meat. Unfortunately this nonsense goes on in a lot of churches.
