Hey Its an open discussion we had a bible study class Tuesday and our lesson was on being perfect Matthews 5:48. But the teacher asked us a question just because Jesus was made in a human form of God, was He perfect? Perfect meaning holy, I said yes because I highly doubt that He did anything out of God's will. But another young person said He wasn't only God is. Do you guys think Jesus was perfect? If not or so please give me some scriptures so I can prove that Jesus was perfect to this young person. And anyone else that thinks other wise.

Yes, you are correct Jesus was perfect. Check out the scripture below.

Hebrews 4:15
For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

Let me know if you have more questions!

Queen Sweetheart,

Vik is right on point with the scripture. Here are a few more:

Hebrews 5:8-10

"Though he (Jesus) were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him; Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec.

Hebrews 9:11-12

"But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;

Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us."

If Jesus was not perfect, had not endured ALL temptations for us, we could have never been redeemed nor could He be our High Priest or perfect sacrifice.

I pray that you continue to develop in our Lord Jesus Christ as a wise young woman of Faith!

Jesus & God Are the same person So yes he was and still is perfect!

First Jesus and the Father are not the same. second He is perfect though He was not in His divine condition, He was still God.

He was the only Man who ever lived wthout the "seed of Adam". He didn't have the "sin nature" that we're plagued with. Yes He was (and is) perfect in every way. ;)

what u mean he is without the seed of adam?
HEBREWS 2:16-18
16)For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.
17)Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.
18)For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.

If He was not the seed of adam but of abraham, thats 400 years of sin. Jesus had a sinful body, but 100 percent character of God. your quote is not accurate.

um sorry but the father, the son, and the holy spirit are all one person, not 3! There is only one god! Jesus was no more then God wrapped in the flesh! 100% man, !00% God

3 in 1..what you're advocating is pretty close to the Oneness Pentecostal teaching that denies the trinity..that's pretty significant. Be careful.

what nature do angels have?

correction brother, the Trinity- Father, Son, and Holy Spirit is a triune, one being in three persons simultaneously. The belief that the father becomes the son who becomes the holy spirit is called modalism, which is considered heretic.

Not saying that this is what you are claiming....but it's important to be clear brother.

That's incorrect, its more like time. There is a past, present, future but they all work as time, but they never meet. Without anyone of those parts time is incomplete. That's how the Father Son and Holy Spirit is and work.

Anything we may use as a comparison at some point will fall short, since God has no equal, but time is a useful comparison. Time is all of these things, not either or and is not complete without all. Yet, if you suggest that the three persons of the Trinity never meet, or are not existing simultaneously, all three are present at Jesus' baptism (Luke 3:22),
(Mark 1:11-12),(Matt 3:16-17).
