Well to be honest I don't believe in the rapture, that is escaping from any tribulation but I am aware of this though. It's important for Christians to know their God and know what he is doing and how we participate in his mission so we can discern when people are trying to decieve us.

Yes, I am aware of this but the real question is who isnt? First if you are still sining ,then you arent ready,But if you already been washed by the blood of Jesus of all your sins. Then, really you should be eagerly awaiting Christ return. and all these things must come to pass 1st before he comes back. So us Christians that already have been purified have to go out their preach to people about Christ warn them. I know we cant save everyone but we still have to preach till he comes back. We want to be found working for him when he comes back.So we shouldnt fear the new world order. LUKE 12;4-5. I TELL YOU MY FRIENDS, DO NOT BE AFRAID OF THOSE WHO KILL THE BODY AND AFTER THAT CAN DO NO MORE. BUT I WILL SHOW YOU WHOM YOU SHOUL FEAR: FEAR HIM WHO,AFTER THE KILLING OF THE BODY,HAS THE POWER TO THROW YOU INTO HELL.

Yeah let me second you on that Alredo. I think so many of us as Christians get so caught up in the Eminent Return of Christ and the New World Order, and the Signs of the Times and so on and so forth; that we forget to do what our Lord told us to do while He is gone.
Yes he told us to stop sinning, keep our lamps trimmed and burning, keep on fire for Him. But he also told us to "Occupy til I come" (Luke 19). I mean this parable is not just about money in my opinion. We have to be busy occupying ourselves with the Masters agenda, not just cleaning ourselves up and waiting on the top of some obscure mountain for the Lord Jesus to return. What has the Lord told you to do in the this last and evil day? My brothers (and sisters), it's time to get busy with the work of the Lord, lest He come back and find us unfaithful servants.

Yes I want Jesus to come back, but sometimes I find myself praying for just a little more time to accomplish the work He has for me. When He returns we must all stand before the Judgment Seat of Christ and give an account for all the works we have done in this body, and I want my work to be done.

About prayer, God knows your heart and what you are thinking at all times. It doesn't make a difference how long or short you pray. What does make a difference is what you are praying for.God bless you.
