John 5:30
I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.

How can one being say He is doing His will, then at the same time say He doesn't do His will? that is lying and contradicting.

Jesus said i do nothing of myself.How can He use His divinity and tell us He is not using anything of Himself.

I honestly believe that this is a very important issue that any serious minded Christian would want to know the truth about.
I believe that they are two different beings yet having the same purpose and goal (for lack of a better word).It's like a team, there are different individuals but they are of the same mind in reaching their goal.
I base my belief on what the Bible says: Jesus himself said that the Father is greater than he [joh.14:28]. Jesus himself said that he could not do anything own his own but only by means of his Father [joh.5:30] In the garden of Gethsemane when Jesus prayed, he prayed to GOD Almighty not himself [mat.26:36-39]. While on the cross Jesus prayed not to himself but to GOD his Father [lu.23 ;46].
Too, God can not be killed in whatever form He make take. GOD expressed His delight in His son Jesus [mat.3:16-17]. GOD said that He sent his son here for mankind [joh.3:16]. GOD has his own personal and distinct name [ps.83:18] GOD said that no man could see Him and live [ex.33:20] and people for sure saw the face of Jesus.
These are just some of the biblical passages that demonstrate that Jesus and GOD are two different individuals. I would think that the terms Father and son would clarify this issue, but there are some that hold to the Trinity (by the way is not a biblical based doctrine) for whatever reasons, has to promote that position, otherwise their churches and their teaching would be rendered null and void.

God came to earth in the form of MAN, Not In the form of GOD. Jesus DID NOT HAVE HIS DIVINITY ON EARTH. That's why He said i did not do nothing of myself. that's why He prayed to the Father so His father can use His power for Him. This is why you could look in Jesus face when He was on earth, BUT NOW THAT JESUS IS RESURRECTED AND GLORIFIED AND ON THE THRONE WITH HIS FATHER WHO HE WAS WITH BEFORE.(JOHN 1:3)

John 17:5
And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.

Here Jesus is saying He had Glory and power before the world was, and He is asking the Father to Restore that Glory and Power He once had.

If Jesus Is not God, who is He?

JOHN 1:1 - 14 EXPLAINS

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

I agree! verses 9 and 10 of the passages of scripture that you have shows that Jesus and God are ONE in the same! Also read: I Timothy 3:16 And without controversy (without arguing) great is the mystery of godliness:God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

You know, it amazes me how people can believe that God made this whole world and everything that is in it, yet they can't believe that he could "manifest" Himself in the flesh (make Himself a body and call it J-E-S-U-S)...if He is God (Jesus), and I know that He is, then He did just that!!!

first of all god was never incarnated into jesus, jesus is god, and was god from the beginning as my girl jus covered with john 1:1

And yes I can respond! jesus was just being an example in that scripture he was teaching us 2 be humble. Imagine if jesus had said yo i run this, im god son , i own you, and i dont need jack cus im the man, how would we act? how would we act today? How would we know how to come to god humbly or be humble period? Jesus's job was to be a prime example of how we should act and 2 die 4 our sins, god couldnt find nobody 2 be the perfect example so he had to come from heaven and earth to show us the way, to show us how its done!

Lets look at some scripture for a sec, but my girl basicly killed it!

John 14:8 Philip said, "Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us."

9Jesus answered: "Don't you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, 'Show us the Father'? 10Don't you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you are not just my own. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work. 11Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me

ok lets start wit 14:8, now as soon as phillip asked that question, why didnt jesus crack the sky open and have a voice shout out i am the father?

in Verse 10 jesus said the father was not only in him but he was in the father? That means there joined doesnt it? So wouldnt it be safe to say that jesus is the father wrapped in flesh?

now back to verse 9 jesus said how then can i show you the father? why would he say that if they were 2 distinct persons? if sombody said show me jahdiel i wouldnt say i was in him and hes in me i would jus say hes right here?
So it realy wouldnt make sense at all of course unless jesus was the father, if somone said show me L.W. id be like how can i show you L.W.? why? cus i am L.W.?

In conconlusion jesus is god
if in the beginning the word was god, and then the word was made flesh, wouldnt that mean that this flesh was god? Wouldnt this flesh be jesus? Wouldnt this mean that jesus is god?

I will leave at this because folks Ignore the whole thought and still keep bringing up scriptures of how it says sent, and how jesus prayed and all that stuff, and those people are just people who are choosing to get defensive and then it turns into a long argument! So if you have question and actual responses to the thoughts i will be happy to participate but lets discuss this in love? because we must understand some people were taught a certain way or beleived a certain way for so long that if you try to tell em different from with they kno they get defensive instead of considering it and researching, cus when it balls down some people are just going to beleive what they wanta beleive? and it dont matter how many scriptures you give and you can preach to you black in blue if they dont want to receive it they wont!

LW you are so on point! II Corinthians 4:3,4 says: But if our gospel be hid, (or veiled) it is hid from them that are lost: 4.In whom the god of this world (Satan) hath blinded (or veiled) the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
