Hey y'all,
I need to clarify something. Is the earthquake caused but the fact that these folks are confirmed satanist and that God is trying to punish them or is there some other reason that we do not know about?

This morning I watched the memorial on television. They were singing hymns. Many were lifting their hands to heaven. It was decidely a Christian type event. Michael Jackson's funeral was of the same tone. There is obviously some connection to God outside of Voodoo there. As an African American, I resent all of the news coverage when an AA robs someone or we hear about the high crime rate in an urban area. Are there AA rapists, murders, thugs, drug addicts, etc? Absolutely. What percentage of AA's are in that category? Who knows! Certainly not all and not a large percentage.

Before missionaries go into the field, they learn about the culture and needs of the people in the region. When needs are met (Maslow's hierarchy of needs), it is easier to talk to people about the Love of God. It is true that our mission is to share Christ with the world. We must have a plan to do that. It makes sense that meeting the needs would be part of that plan.

Is Haiti being judged? Maybe. Should we share God's Love with Haitians? Absolutely. Do you have a plan?

Let me Share this with you about some of the Conditions I saw In Haiti. When our mission team was there in April of 2009, we stayed in Penteionville and had to Commute to the Village and Church Site where we ministered. Check this Out, it took us 1hour and 30 minutes in small truck to get there. Now, that may seem like it’s really not a long time to travel, but It Is When You Are Only Going 12 Miles up the Road. Yes! It took 1 ½ hour to go 11-15 miles. That’s how bad the Roads were “BEFORE” the Earthquake. When traveling to the Village the Concrete Roads come to an end and the rest of the Journey become Rocky Dirt Roads. Too Narrow for Our Large 18 wheelers, and Trackers, or Heavy Equipment. If Two cars need to pass each other, one car has to pull over as close to the mountainside as possible so that they don’t run each other off of a 300 foot DROP. If there is Heavy Rain it creates Mud Slides and the Roads become worse. Once you get outside of Port de Prince – It’s like you go back in time a few hundred years. The “Majority” of the homes are Block Huts. There is no sewer system, No Toilets, no running Water in homes, no central Heat and Air condition, NO ELECTRICITY, Not even a Power Line in the whole Community, at Night it is Pitch Black. So, In many ways the Relief Efforts are Not Hindered by the Lack of Resources of, but hindered by the in-ability to Execute Effectively just because of the Conditions of the Land Itself.

Think about this, In the USA, if we want to ship a package we simply pay for Shipping and that’s It. Postal Service, UPS of FedEx will do the Rest if that’s who you choose, But Not So in Haiti. If you ship a package to Haiti – Even Though “You Pay” to Send it, whoever you send it to has to “PAY” to Get It! There is no Delivery Service like we have in the US. If you send a 20 pound Package, it will cast the Recipient at least $20.00 just to pick it up. The Government charges a little over a dollar per pound per package. If the person can’t afford to pick it up it just sits in warehouses.

Think about this, When Katrina Hit the US, at “least” there were Buses to take people to nearby cities. At “least” there were some generous Hotels, and Schools, and Churches that became Shelters. At “least” there was “Some” Help here in the US. When FEMA broke down at “least” there were some others who could help Individually, but in Haiti “There is No Where Else to Go.” There is No Way for them to Help Themselves, like we do in the US.

Think about this, Over the years our church helped to build a school in Haiti. But in Haiti they “Could Not” just place an order for “Bricks” to build the school. They had to Actually “Make” the bricks first. There is No Lowe’s, Ace, or Home Depot to run to if you need a few Supplies. If you ever get to go There You’ll See what I mean.
How long does it take to Build a House? How long would it take to rebuild houses for the Survivors of Haiti? The Answer…Real Long! My point is this- Millions of people are “Homeless”. People are Living in “Tents” but in just a FEW MONTHS it will be “Hurricane Season”. How is a tent going to help the Newborns, the Sick, The injured, and the Poor in the Event of a Storm?

In This photo I'm the one wearing black. we're in that "truck" I mentioned earlier. Right Now, our team is scheduled to return to Haiti in April, I pray that there will be no delays… Keep Praying for Revival in Haiti!

Notice that when the 10 Christians were accused of trafficking, the media blew it up. No license, permission, kids were crying, etc. As the story unfolded, all of the kids were either given to them by a distant relative OR taken from an orphanage. Relatives were interviewed and said they were told that the kids would be educated and have better lives. GIven the circumstances, it is understandable that the kids would not want to leave home. This church group had started building an orphange in the Dominican Republic back in November. Secular folks get all of the positive coverage. Why can't the media cover all of the efforts of Christians in Haiti?

I can only look at actions and impact not intent. I do not know those people's intentions, but their actions were unlawful. You cannot go and take away people's children especially without the proper documentation. The group are seeming to use their Christian privelege to wiggle their way out of breaking the law. Did the media blow this out of proportion? Possibly. Did those people break the law? Definitely. Selling children is big when it comes to poor countries of color and it is good that there is a watchful eye out to stop this from happening to Haiti during this horrible time.

The interesting aspect of this is "they had the permission of the parents." The parents admitted it. The real story is not being covered like the "child trafficking" story. They are obviously naive. It looks like the leader, Ms. S. and her assistant, continue to be held. The sad thing is that when Christians help, the world wants to make it seem evil. Christians have nerve enough to believe there is a heaven and hell. How dare Christians tell Haitians that they can have eternal life with Christ, while they are providing assistance to them. Actors, acresses, politicians can benefit from the positive publicity. God cannot?

NUCLEAR TESTING BY AMERICA!!! END OF STORY

The LORD says that we who are in HIM are not to call conspiracy what others call conspiracy. The 'nuke testing/harp' theory is a frightened person's way of discounting the Hand of GOD in human situations.

I thnk that as believers we ave the mind of god so his clear purpose is in his testament especially regarding Idol worship an false godhood,So Idobelieve that just like in New Orleans the Lord saught retribution as a wake up call to the people. As christiaan believers who follow the gospel we should be adamently aware that the victims that were rocked by hurricane Katrina need our assistnce in bringing them to the word as well do the people in Haiti. As part of th relief we should be focused as a church in planting churches in Haiti and restorng those kind loving people back to there humanity, almost like what the Bush administration tried to do in Iraq, but us as a church take center stage from the Pulpit. Becuase believe me the church has the money. If we let those peoples pass by without doing so believe in theLord there blood is on our heads as a Nation. These are a people thatchrist wants on his team very badly. He will respond to the prayer of the destitute he will nt despise thier plea. Psalm 102;17

LEVITICUS 26:30-35. I WILL DESTROY YOUR HIGH PLACES, CUT DOWN YOUR INCENSE ALTARS AND PILE YOUR DEAD BODIES ON THE LIFELESS FORMS OF YOUR IDOLS, AND I WILL ABHOR YOU. I WILL TURN YOUR CITIES INTO RUINS AND LAY WASTE YOUR SANCTUARIES, AND I WILL TAKE NO DELIGHT IN THE PLEASING AROMAS OF YOUR OFFERINGS. I WILL LAY WASTE THE LAND, SO THAT YOUR ENEMIES WHO LIVE THERE WILL BE APALLED. I WILL SCATTER YOU AMONG THE NATIONS AND WILL DRAW OUT MY SWORD AND PURSUE YOU. YOUR LAND WILL BE LAID WASTE, AND YOUR CITIES WILL LIE IN RUINS. THEN THE LAND WILL ENJOY ITS SABBATH YEARS ALL THE TIME THAT IT LIES DESOLATE AND YOU ARE IN THE COUNTRY OF YOUR ENEMIES; THEN THE LAND WILL REST AND ENJOY ITS SABBATHS. ALL THE TIME THAT IT LIES DESOLATE, THE LAND WILL HAVE THE REST IT DID NOT HAVE DURING THE SABBATHS YOU LIVED IN IT.

~~~Something to think about~~~   HumilityHumility puts a hand out to nothing extra, but simply takes what's there. Whether that be food or clothing or understanding. Sometimes there is a lot available and sometimes only little. It doesn't matte…
