What do you remember most about Michael Jackson? His dancing, his court case, the emotion his music invoked? So many many memories, he was a gift, I hope you he came into the knowledge of Jesus Christ...

I personally loved his dancing skill and his ability to make you feel like nothing else matter but his music! Mike was a genius! I also loved his early music.

I never knew/met Mike, but I still have a sense of loss. God bless his soul.

Watching those multi-colored rainbow explosion special effects through the city on the "Can You Feel It" video. Am I showing my age? I thought it was the coolest thing back then. Who else here remembers that video? And from when it actually came out - Not seeing it on youtube? If you're not scared to show your age... RIP MJ I hope he got it right with God before he made it out this piece.

What a true loss to the music industry and world...I remember watching the Jackson 5 on Saturday mornings and then folowing Michael throughout his career. To this day when asked who my favorite performer was it would always be Michael Jackson...when you look at all the young cats dancing now it all came from him. Most of all I just pray that his family finds the peace and if ever there was a time to get it right, this is the time folks...life isn't promised at all!!!

Big MJ fan. Two personal incidents...at the age of 6 while living in Louisville, Ky the Jackson 5 came through the city. I heard about it on the radio and decided to go join them. I packed a few things and was off to make them the Jackson 6. My mom stopped me down the block. I collected ALL of his songs. One day coming home from school I watched my mom take a rubber mallett and crush EVERY one of the lps. She had just gotten REAL saved. LOL!! RIP MJ OFF the WALL gonna leave that 9 to 5 up on the shelf and just enjoy yourself....groove let the maddest in the music get to you...life aint that bad at all when you live it OFF the WALL.

I would have to say the way the Michael floated across the dance floor. Michael had a wonderful smile and spirit. He will truly be missed. I loved watching the Jackson 5 cartoon as well.

I would have to say, when I was in grammar school (a long long time ago) we had Black History week, not month. My school in Jersey City (PS 16) used to let us out of class in the hall ways and they would play the Jackson Five music, show their videos on the wall with the school projector (well the shows they were on- that was early 1970's) and their cartoons. Not afraid to show my age, RobPhat. All day long we would be out there or in class with the doors open and sing and dance. Sadly, that was what our black history consisted of back then, but we had fun.We had talent shows back then, too, and my brother and cousins did the Dance Machine song and dance and WON! And when I was a young teen, I would fantasize about marrying Michael as he lamented on the song "Who's Lovin' You?" Man, I would just get thrills when he held that note...'whooooooooo's luv--ving youuu... I, I, I, love, yeeaah..' Later as I got older, I loved Michael's electrifying dance and his sensitivity. "Off the Wall" was my favorite Album of all times. He will always be loved remembered. God bless his family and children.

Man, I was like “A dude!!” man Michael Jackson was the soul reason why I started pursuing media work and movies. After I saw Smooth Operator, Bad and then Remember the Time; I knew I wanted to be a director of videos and movies. Its funny how this one person affected the entertainment industry as a whole and the world. There is no country in the world you can go to that does not know who MJ is!

I remember two good ones. first when I was little I had the J5 afro and my family would get together and have caberets and we would try to do the robot to "Danicng Machine" LOL!! It was cool trying to mimick his moves. Second, I was in middle school and watching the Motown Reunion and he performed and tore the place down with that moonwalk in those black penny loafers. Off the chain!! I have seen a lot of people try it but NO one could do it like he did it. He, for my generation is the BEST that ever did it and there will never be another. I could care less about judging his personal life. That's not my position. I love good musicianship and performance and if you are doing ya thang whether I agree with it or not I will give you ya props!

Those in the music business period owe him big time I don't care what genre you sing there is a piece of his genius in your performance.

I'm not gonna be deep and end with the typical quote about whether he made it to Glory but I will say this. We will never know. That's why I'm so glad we are not God because it is not left up to us to decide MJ's eternity.

Let's show the TRUE love of God and pray for his family and their comfort and pray that the Lord will send ministers of reconciliation to tend to them at this time.

I remember dancing to Billie Jean in a talent show when I was in fifth grade. His influence was great on music, and I hoped he did come to know Jesus. So many people tried to put him down over last few years, but let's be honest no one is perfect. Whether he was guilty or innocent, it is our job as people in the Body of Christ to love on people, period. Plus he has infulenced some of the leading name in Kingdom music today such as: Kirk Franklin, Deitrick Haddon, Tonex, and many more. So to you Mike Jackson, thanks for being a wonderful influence to the people whom influence us to live fully for everyday through their music.

One Love, Martez Packer
