your flesh is not born of God so when you sin it is in the flesh, your reborn spirit is born of God but it remains in sinful flesh. You want be sinless until you are transformed by Christ with a new body.

I'll try to be brief. This is a deep subject.
First of all RG3000, that new body point you bring up doesn't account for the fact that the scripture (1John 3:9) makes reference to the present and not in our future resurrected bodies. If it made reference to our resurrected bodies it would state the obvious.
So if God's Word says that those that are born of Him (via the Holy Spirit) the real question should be to ourselves is:
Can I live without sin?
Matt 19:26, Phil 2:15, Rom 8:29, 1Cor 10:13, Rom 8:15 -- God doesn't just ask for the impossible. He gave you a living example.
Jesus bled and died to deliver you from sin, not to give you an excuse for it.

Is your body born of God when you are reborn or is your dead spirit reborn? You are no longer a slave to sin in Christ so you don't PRACTICE sin but you are not without sin in the flesh because it is not reborn. The reason you get a new body is because the old body (current body) is not born again. I am not advocating sin in any way my past post will substantiate that but to believe you are without sin is wrong. Christ is sinless and we are to remain in Him. We are perfect in Him not on our own.

The scripture speaks of two subjects: sin and man. It is not speaking of sin and the flesh. You are focusing on a part of a greater whole. By no means am I discounting what you are saying, but the original post is speaking about you, I, or anyone who is born again. The question asked is: In the new man does sin remain?
So the theological truth in this scripture is God demands holiness that is imputed through Christ and lived through our life. The scripture says, "he cannot sin". Let the Word of God be true and every man a liar.
Rom 8:10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
I'm not saying that the flesh is a non-issue, but we have more power over it than what is taught or even lived by "Christians" we know. The Word should interpret the culture, not the other way around.

1 John 5:16-18 (NASB)
16 If anyone sees his brother committing a sin not leading to death, he shall ask and God will for him give life to those who commit sin not leading to death. There is a sin leading to death; I do not say that he should make request for this.
17 All unrighteousness is sin, and there is a sin not leading to death.
18 We know that no one who is born of God sins; but He who was born of God keeps him, and the evil one does not touch him.

Why would God say to Mary Magdeline " Go and sin no more, and to the blind man that was healed also. Im talking about living a sinless life after being born in the spirit. God ask us to be perfect as our father in heaven in perfect. In Jude 24)Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, 25)To the only wise God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen. Jesus is able to KEEP US FROM FALLING, so we should rely on the spirit which is stronger than sin, to keep us from sinning. Please read Romans 6, it explains step by step how we received victory from sin.

The question is, define fautless... is that WITHOUT sin?? or WITH CHRIST which cancels any sin?

Christ said in that verse that He will PRESENT YOU FAULTLESS which is sinless, but With Christ help of course. He doesnt just blot out our sin but He also frees us from doing them. 1 john 3:8. Jesus was manifest to destory the works of the devil.
